Manufactured in huge numbers during WWII and indeed beyond for export to communist countries, the PPS-43 was one of the most effective SMG’s of the wartime period. Produced from pressed and welded steel plate with minimal machining the PPS was cheap to produce with limited materials and manufacturing facilities. It was a development of the PPSh and was produced between 1943 and 1946 prior to export and licensed production. This example is a 1944 dated piece with the factory code 'C' for Scetnach of Moscow. It is in very good used condition with the majority of finish intact comes complete with original sling and one magazine. Post 1995 UK deactivation with moving cocking handle/rear bolt section under spring pressure, working safety and the ability to partially field strip.
