ROF Fazakerley No4 MKII .303 Rifle

£525.00

SOLD. A very good Enfield No4 MKII rifle manufactured in the UK by Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Fazakerley (Liverpool). This may well have originally been a wartime MKI converted to MKII configuration by ROF Fazakerley. Chambered in .303, the No4 rifle was the mainstay of allied forces during WWII and was still used extensively into the 1950's and early 1960's. This example is in very good used condition with just limited service wear to the metalwork and what appears to be its original woodwork. It is matching numbered to the receiver and bolt (less unusual for a No4). Complete with a period webbing sling, five inert .303 rounds and bakelite oil bottle. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip. See our video showing an example of this type of deactivated firearm here. Sorry - no international sales.
