UNAVAILABLE. NON-UK SALES ONLY OR RE-DEACTIVATION TO CURRENT DEACTIVATION SPECIFICATION - PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FURTHER DETAILS. Manufactured by the La Coruna aresenal from 1944 to 1958 and closely based on the WWII German K98, the M43 was a very good quality weapon. Chambered in 7.92 x 57, the M43 uses the tried and battle-tested Mauser action. This particular example is dated 1948, has matching numbers throughout and is in really excellent used condition. It has two holes drilled in the barrel; one through the top wood and one near to the front sight. We can only imagine that these were used to mount the rifle for display some how. Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action, removable magazine and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
