L1A1 Self Loading Rifle 7.62mm NATO

SOLD. A nice used example of the pre-SA80 British Army issue rifle. Used extensively in the 1970's and early 1980's including during the Falklands Campaign. It has also recently re-entered service as an approved maritime security weapon. This Australian manufactured piece is dated 1962 and is complete with one magazine, original sling and 5 inert 7.62mm NATO rounds. Good overall condition with much finish remaining and good stocks. EU deactivation with moving cocking handle and original bolt section under spring pressure, removable magazine, removable top cover and the ability to 'break' the halves of the action open. The trigger and selector do not move and it can't be dry fired or field stripped.
