The story around SSA marked rifles is a little bit vague but the informed opinion is that these rifles were assembled by Enfield with parts produced by Standard Small Arms (SSA)/National Rifle Factory (NRF). Like many SMLE's, it have seen use not only in WWI but also in WWII and beyond. In good used condition with what appears to be the original woodwork and metalwork finish. Matching receiver and bolt which is increasingly difficult to find these days. Complete with one magazine, military sling and 5 inert .303 rounds. Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action, removable magazine and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
