SOLD. A very good used Enfield No4 rifle manufactured by Savage of USA. This example is a WWII model as supplied under the Lend, Lease Programme to allied forces including the British. Chambered in .303, the No4 rifle was the mainstay of allied forces during WWII and was still used extensively into the 1950's and early 1960's. This piece was subsequently FTR'd to MKI/3 standard probably in the 1950's or 1960's. As part of this process, the original Savage serial number has been linished away and replaced with a later number. However, the first digit of the original number is still visible (6) meaning that this was a 6XCXXXX series piece originally manufactured in 1943. It is in really good used condition with limited service wear to the metalwork and good, what look to be, original stocks. Complete with five inert .303 rounds and 37 Pattern sling. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip. See our video showing an example of this type of deactivated firearm here. Sorry - no international sales.
