WWII 1939 Mauser K98 Rifle

£525.00
Price incl. VAT, plus delivery

SOLD. The K98, based on the on the Gew 98 used during WWI, was the standard Nazi issue weapon of WWII. This WWII example has Nazi markings to the receiver and some smaller parts. It is manufacturer coded 660 with a date of 1939. However, we believe that the code and the date has been re-stamped post-war and that this is probably the result of the rifle being 'sanitised' after the war. For political and ethical reasons, a lot of K98 receivers had their manufacturer code and date removed to make them easier to sell; this looks to be such an example. In very good used condition with sound woodwork and limited wear to the original metalwork finish. Complete with two inert 7.92 rounds, the usually missing cleaning rod and the even more frequently missing front sight hood. EU deactivation with a moving bolt and moving trigger (under spring pressure), but without the ability dry fire or field strip. Sorry - no international sales. Call our freephone credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499.
