OLD SPEC L1A1 Self Loading Rifle 7.62mm NATO

Get it while you can - available by telephone order only - 024 7637 3581. Old specification deactivated version of the pre-SA80 British Army issue rifle. Used extensively from the late 1950's to the early 1980's including during the Falklands Campaign. This Australian variant was manufactured in 1962, is fitted with black plastic furniture and has what appears to be its original paint finish. It has matching numbers to the upper and lower receivers with electro-pencilled matching numbers to the bolt carrier and bolt head (with no other numbers present). Condition is excellent throughout with just the kind of wear you would expect from a service weapon of this type. It comes complete with a sling, two 20 round magazines and 10 inert 7.62mm NATO rounds. An australian pattern L1A1 bayonet is available at extra cost.  Currently deactivated to pre 1995 UK standards with fully moving parts, working dry-fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
