SOLD. Double barrelled 12 Bore shotgun with hammer action and 18" side-by-side barrels. 'Coach Guns' such as this were popular in the 'Wild West' and were used for defence on Stagecoaches. This example was manufactured by Griffith. It is in good used condition with the wear and patina you would expect for a firearm of this age - perfect for a Wild West collection or display. Fitted with sling swivels and complete with two cut-down 12G shells for the top of each chamber giving the impression that the chambers are loaded. Deactivated to the new EU specification with sprung/moving hammers, moving triggers and the ability to break the action but without dry fire action or the ability to field strip.
