SOLD. A WWII Thompson M1A1 submachine gun. The M1A1 was a development of the well regarded, but expensive to manufacture 1928A1 Thompson. Although the 1928A1 did see use during WWII, the M1A1 was the far more common weapon for standard GI’s. The M1A1 also continued in service with the US armed forces during the Korean conflict. This Auto Ordnance manufactured example has some light pitting to the metalwork but with very good stocks. Complete with one 20 round magazine and 5 inert .45ACP rounds. Deactivated to the EU specification with moving rear bolt section under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, fire selector lever and removable magazine but without the ability to field strip or dry fire. Sorry - no international sales. Call our freephone credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499. With these now retailing at £800 plus, this is a very good value example, even with the light pitting.
