L1A1 Rear 'Hythe' Sight Assembly

A used but very good rare 'Hythe' rear sight for the L1A1 Battle Rifle (SLR). Designed in Kent (hence its name), the Hythe sight was apparently created for units operating in low light conditions. Unlike the standard rear sight with its single flip-up leaf, the Hythe sight has twin leafs, one of which has a much larger aperture. These are now hard to find and are a nice addition to an L1A1 collection. This example is in excellent order.
