Rare Armourer Cutaway Zastava M98/48 Rifle (K98)

In stock and available for purchase

£1,495.00
Price incl. VAT, plus delivery

The K98, based on the on the Gew 98 used during WWI, was the standard Nazi issue weapon of WWII. After WWII, Yugoslavia, short of weapons and funds, refurbished WWII K98 rifles, re-designating them as the Model 98/48. This example is a rare armourer cutaway piece produced for training recruits. The rifle itself is in very good condition with excellent stocks and the vast majority of original metalwork finish intact. As is usual on cutaway examples, sectioned surfaces have been painted red. Complete with the usually missing cleaning rod and the even more usually missing sight hood. Current deactivation with a moving bolt and moving trigger (under spring pressure), but without the ability dry fire or field strip. The deactivation work has been completed to a very high standard so that it is not visible through the sectioned parts. Enfield Enforcer 7.62mm Sniper Rifle

In stock and available for purchase

Old price £950.00
£850.00
Price incl. VAT, plus delivery

The Enfield Enforcer was designed for Police sniper use in the late 1960's and early 1970's and was based on the military L42A1 sniper and the military/L39A1. This example is actually an Enfield Envoy converted to Enforcer spec. The Envoy was basically the civilian version of the Enforcer. Chambered in 7.62mm NATO, the Envoy/Enforcer had a heavy free floated barrel and a shorter, sporter-style fore-end. Both were fitted with competition-type adjustable sights, although these were usually removed on Enforcers to allow fitting of a scope. Enforcers were fitted with Parker Hale scope pads, Parker Hale rings and very often, a PECAR 4x magnification scope. Usually, a Harris-type bipod was also fitted to the fore-end. This 1969 dated example is in cracking condition in terms of both woodwork and metalwork. It is fitted with the usual PECAR scope on Parker Hale mounts along with the fold-up bipod. It has the correct 7.62mm magazine and is fitted with a QD sling swivel attached to the bipod as well as the usual sling mounting points. The front sight has been removed so as not to interfere with the scope sight image. The scope image is a little misty but it looks the part and is of course the correct pattern for Police sniper use. One of the bipod legs has popped out sligthly in the photos (they are spring loaded) but it does close fully. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip. See our video showing an example of this type of deactivated firearm here. Sorry - no international sales. Chinese Type 56 SKS SLR

In stock and available for purchase

£395.00
Price incl. VAT, plus delivery

The SKS (Samozaryadnyj Karabin Simonova = Simonov Self-loading Carbine) was designed by famous Russian arms designer Simonov, who already designed the self-loading rifle AVS-36 and an anti-tank rifle PTRS. In 1949 this carbine was officially adopted by the Soviet Army as a "7.62mm Samozaryadnyj Karabin Simonova obr. 1945 goda - SKS". The SKS was brought into service along with the Kalashnikov AK-47, and was widely used during the first two or three post-war decades. This example is a Chinese Type 56 military variant very probably from the 1960's; Type 56's were used extensively during the Vietnam conflict. It is in very good used condition; one of the better ones we have seen. It is also fully matching numbered - receiver, bolt, dust cover, trigger group and stock. Additionally, it is fitted with an unusual scope rail on the lefthand side of the receiver. Complete with military sling and three inert 7.62 rounds. Current deactivation with moving bolt section under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressur, moving safety and the ability to release the magazine assembly, but without the ability to dry fire or field strip. Sorry - no international sales. Call our freephone credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499. Henry AR7 .22LR Survival Rifle

In stock and available for purchase

Old price £395.00
£375.00
Price incl. VAT, plus delivery

One for the Bond collectors out there! An unusual .22 survival rifle manufactured by Henry in the US. The AR7 is a lightweight and compact take-down weapon designed to be used for hunting and personal protection. Fed from a box magazine, this semi auto rifle has the ability to stow away in its stock when not in use. This feature is unfortunately lost when deactivated as the barrel has to be pinned to the receiver. It is, however, a very interesting piece in excellent condition and complete with original box and one magazine. The AR7 has been used in a number of movies, notably in James Bond's From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Deactivated to the new EU specification with moving original bolt section under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, working safety, removable magazine and the ability to break down into its major parts (see photo), but without the ability to dry fire or fully field strip. Sorry - no international sales. Call our credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499. Manufactured from 1942, the AG42 or Ljungman is a gas operated semi-auto rifle chambered in 6.5mm with a top-fed (via stripper clip) 10 round magazine.
