What we do with the information we gather

Website Enquiries

We use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry. We do not share this information with any third party.

Customer Registration

Website registration is offered for the benefit of customers and potential customers and is not required to place an order. Where registration information is submitted, it is stored on our eCommerce host’s secure server and is not shared with any other third party. After registering, should you wish to have your details amended or removed from our system, please email sales@dwsuk.org. If during or after the registration process you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your registered email address to share this with you. Should you wish to unsubscribe to our newsletter, this can be actioned by logging into your registered account; alternatively, you can email us at sales@dwsuk.org to request that you are unsubscribed.

Customer Orders

We use the information you provide to process your order. If you select to pay by credit or debit card, the financial transaction is passed securely to our merchant processor SagePay and processed in its entirety by them. We see only very limited details of your transaction (last four digits of your card) along with automated fraud monitoring results.

If you opt to pay by credit/debit card reservation, no payment details are required at the time of ordering. We contact you by phone after your order has been placed to collect your payment details. These are normally entered directly into a merchant terminal for immediate processing. Where this is not possible, any recorded details are shredded immediately after processing.

Where your order is delivered by Royal Mail, your address details may be entered into their systems for the purposes of tracking. Where your order is delivered by ParcelForce or an alternative courier, your name, address and contact number will be entered into the consignment details.

Please note that if you cancel your order prior to completing credit/debit card payment via SagePay you order details will still be passed to us. Orders are stored on our eCommerce host’s secure server and are not shared with any third party beyond those stated above. Should you wish to have your order details deleted from our systems, please emails us at sales@dwsuk.org.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Our website uses secure pages for order and payment processing; we are PCIDSS compliant and registered with the ICO.
