The Enfield Enforcer was designed for Police sniper use in the late 1960's and early 1970's and was based on the military L42A1 sniper and the military/civilian L39A1. This example is actually an Enfield Envoy converted to Enforcer spec. The Envoy was basically the civilian version of the Enforcer. Chambered in 7.62mm NATO, the Envoy/Enforcer had a heavy free floated barrel and a shorter, sporter-style fore-end. Both were fitted with competition-type adjustable sights, although these were usually removed on Enforcers to allow fitting of a scope. Enforcers were fitted with Parker Hale scope pads, Parker Hale rings and very often, a PECAR 4x magnification scope. Usually, a Harris-type bipod was also fitted to the fore-end. This 1969 dated example is in cracking condition in terms of both woodwork and metalwork. It is fitted with the usual PECAR scope on Parker Hale mounts along with the fold-up bipod. It has the correct 7.62mm magazine and is fitted with a QD sling swivel attached to the bipod as well as the usual sling mounting points. The front sight has been removed so as not to interfere with the scope sight image. The scope image is a little misty but it looks the part and is of course the correct pattern for Police sniper use. One of the bipod legs has popped out sligthly in the photos (they are spring loaded) but it does close fully. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip. See our video showing an example of this type of deactivated firearm here. Sorry - no international sales.
