WWI 1918 Lee Enfield MKIII SMLE .303

LSA (London Small Arms) manufactured Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) in .303 calibre. Wartime MKIII model manufactured in 1918 and complete with magazine cut-off plate. The metalwork is in very good overall used condition. The woodwork looks to be completely original (including a clearly marked LSA stock) - it is well used reflecting the rifle's service life with a few minor armourer repairs. The SMLE was used throughout WWI and in this case WWII by allied forces - an important piece of history. Complete with one magazine, issue sling and two inert .303 rounds. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip.
