Made famous by Steve McQueen in the late 1950's an early 60's in the US TV show 'wanted: Dead or Alive' this cut-down lever action repeating rifle brought many an outlaw to justice! This example is chambered in .22LR and is of stunning quality with its large lever loop, saddle ring and beautiful hardwood stocks. In brand new condition in its original box with paperwork. A must for the western fans out there and a great piece for any collection. Deactivated to the new EU specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel). Existing collectors should note that the EU specification for the deactivation of lever action rifles is almost identical to the previous UK spec.
