Quite a rare double barrelled 12G shotgun with side-lock action and 29” side-by-side barrels. A 'Langs Patent' gun manufactured by Joseph Lang in the UK. Lang guns are considered to be some of the very best shotguns alongside brands such as Purdey. In good shooting condition this one would have had a four figure price tag. Damascus barrels and lovely fine scroll engraving to the action. There is age wear to the metalwork finish; the stocks are very good. Deactivated to the current specification with moving safety and the ability to break the action but without dry fire action or the ability to field strip. Complete with two cut-down 12G shells for the top of each chamber giving the impression that the chambers are loaded.
