Webley MKIV .38 Revolver

Manufactured from 1925 until the early 1980's, the MK IV was issued alongside the Enfield to allied forces during WWII. It was also sold commercially and supplied to various Police forces. This 3" barrelled example is a post-war example with the serial number dating it to the mid to late 1960's. It is the 'safety' version with the cross-bolt safety for the hammer; these were particularly popular with police forces. In good overall condition with much original finish intact but with some service wear. Current specification deactivation with moving trigger under spring pressure, moving hammer under spring pressure, the ability to break/open the action and clear cylinder chambers to accept inert rounds.
