A very good 1918 dated and ordnance marked MkVI revolver as used during WWI (and indeed WWII). A classic service revolver firing the hard-hitting .455 round. In good condition with much of its metalwork finish intact but with a little fading and service use. Matching numbers throughout and fitted with original bakelite service grips. Marked R.F.A to the backstrap which could indicate it was issued to the Royal Field Artillery. Deactivated to the current specification with moving hammer under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, rotating cylinder (upon the trigger being pulled) and clear chambers to the cylinder to accept inert rounds. It can be 'broken' open and the cartidge ejector system is fully functioning. It does not have a dry fire action and can't be field stripped.
