WWII RFI SMLE Bayonet

SOLD. PROOF OF AGE WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE WE CAN DISPATCH THIS ITEM - SEE BELOW. An RFI (Royal Factory Ishapore) manufactured bayonet for the SMLE and later 2A1 rifle. The date is difficult to read on this MKII* example but we think is is 1943. It is marked N.W.R for North West Railway. In excellent, barely used condition and complete with original scabbard. Note that there is a very slight difference in the shade of the each grip panel but that the lighting in the photographs make it appear much worse than it is in reality! Sorry - no international sales.
