SOLD. A very nice reproduction of the famous Colt 1873 Peacemaker. This is the 'Cavalry' version with the longer barrel originally designed for mounted troops but favoured extensively for its greater accuracy and balance without being unweildy. If you've seen a cowboy movie then you've seen one of these! Originally manufactured by Uberti as an air cartridge revolver, this is a nice quality piece. It has been bored out (cylinder and barel) to appear to be a larger centrefire version. In excellent order with a blued barrel, blued cylinder, blued grip frame, polished hardwood grips, a case hardened frame and a 7.5" barrel. Complete with 6 inert .38SPL rounds which fit into the clear chambers and original Uberti box. Deactivated to the EU specification with moving hammer under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, rotating cylinder (upon the hammer being pulled back) and clear chambers to the cylinder) - see video of this type of deactivation below. It does not have a dry fire action and can't be field stripped. Call our freephone credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499 and save yourself £2000+ on an antique example.
