SOLD. This is a nice reproduction of the Colt 1851 Richards-Mason Conversion cartridge loading revolver. These revolvers were officially converted from percussion revolvers as the US was prevented from manufacturing cartridge revolvers by a patent that eventually expired in 1869. Originally manufactured as an air cartridge revolver, this is a nice quality piece. It has been bored out (cylinder and barel) to appear to be a larger centrefire version. In excellent order with a blued barrel, blued cylinder, case hardened frame, blued grip frame, hardwood grips and a 7.5" barrel. Complete with 6 inert .38SPL rounds which fit into the clear chambers and original Uberti box. Deactivated to the EU specification with moving hammer under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, rotating cylinder (upon the hammer being pulled back) and clear chambers to the cylinder). It does not have a dry fire action and can't be field stripped. Call our freephone credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499 and save yourself £1500+ on an antique example.
