MG34/42 P-Kasten Set

SOLD. A good complete P-Kasten (Patronenkasten) set for the WWII MG34 and MG42 Light Machine Guns. Original WWII production, this set comprises of the outer container and the two inner cans (one for oil and one fpr petrol). The outer containers were adapted from ammunition boxes. This is an earlier one, manufactured from aluminium rather than steel. It has a good amount of finish remaining but does have loss in places. There are two small dents - one in the side (visible in the pictures) and one in the bottom; also a small split in one of the corners of the lid. The inner cans are in great condition with the vast majority of original finish present, their content plates fully intact and with clear WaA markings.
