NON-UK SALES ONLY OR RE-DEACTIVATION TO CURRENT DEACTIVATION SPECIFICATION - PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FURTHER DETAILS. Rare SMLE variant manufactured by Ishapore between 1963 and 1975. Chambered in 7.62 NATO, this was the last SMLE variant produced. It is externally near identical to earlier SMLE's, but with a different magazine design to account for the 7.62 chambering. This example is dated 1966 and is in very good condition. There is a small period armourer repair to the heal of the stock but this is in-keeping with its age and use. Complete with webbing sling and five inert 7.62 NATO rounds. The last SMLE - an important piece of history! Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action, removable magazine and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
