SOLD. BSA manufactured Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) in .303 calibre. MKIII model with magazine cut-off (re-introduced in the inter-war years) and dated 1939. The metalwork is in very good overall used condition. The woodwork looks to have ben replaced and is in really nice order. Used throughout WWI and in this case WWII by allied forces - an important piece of history. Complete with one magazine and five inert .303 rounds. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip.
