SOLD. Manufactured in huge numbers during WWII and beyond, The Sten was probably the most utilitarian but effective SMG of the period. Produced from pressed and welded steel plate with minimal machining the Sten was cheap on both materials and labour. The MKII model is probably the best known and best looking of the Sten family. This example is marked SECO & CO for Sterling Engineering Co and has an F prefixed serial number suggesting that is was assembled by ROF Fazakerley. Fitted with the wire loop type stock and complete with one magazine, original WWII dated sling and 5 inert 9mm rounds. In well used condition showing service wear but in our opinion better this way than sprayed black with car paint! Deactivated to the new EU specification with moving metal dummy bolt under spring pressure, moving fire selector, moving trigger (under spring pressure) and removable magazine but without the ability to dry fire or field strip the bolt assembly from the receiver. The stock removes, the magazine housing rotates and the barrel heatshield unscrews.  Sorry - no international sales.
