WWI 1917 BSA MKIII* SMLE .303

Original BSA manufactured Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) in .303 calibre. MKIII* model with a 1917 dated receiver. Used throughout WWI and indeed WWII by allied forces - an important piece of history. In good used condition with plenty of original metalwork finish intact and good original woodwork. Complete with one magazine, webbing sling, five inert .303 rounds on a stripper clip, oil bottle and pull through. Also fitted with the piling sling swivel. Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
