A very good Enfield No4 MKI rifle manufactured by Maltby in 1943 and refurbished to MKI/II status by Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Fazakerley (Liverpool) in 1954. Chambered in .303, the No4 rifle was the mainstay of allied forces during WWII and was still used extensively into the 1950's and early 1960's. This example is in very good used condition with just limited service wear to the metalwork and what appears to be its original woodwork. Complete with five inert .303 rounds and bakelite oil bottle. Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action, removable magazine and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
