SOLFD. Based on the better known Model 59, this rare gun was only produced in small numbers (some reports suggest around 3000). Rather than the alloy frame seen on Model 59’s the 559 has an all steel frame. Apart from this, the 559 is identical to a 59 other than the rear sighting system which is the later type adjustable unit with protector ‘ears’. In excellent condition with only minor edge wear and complete with one magazine and 5 inert 9mm rounds. Deactivated to the current specification with moving slide under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, moving hammer under spring pressure, moving slide mounted safety, working slide stop (slide locks back with magazine inserted) and removable magazine - see video of this item below.
