The Victory revolver was produced in a number of different variants with over half a million being produced for the British and other Allied forces under the Lend Lease Agreement. This example is the standard wartime variant with a 5" barrel, plain hardwood grips, lanyard ring and chambered in 38/200 calibre. It is in good overall condition with the much of its dark grey parkerised finish intact but with limited service wear. It has the usual US PROPERTY stamp on the top of the frame but is a pre 'V' prefix gun meaning that it was produced early in the production run - very probably in 1942. Complete with 6 inert cut down .38 shells to give the impression the cylinder is loaded. Please note the the white lettering on the side of the frame is paint rather than engraved, so could be removed if desired. Post-1995 UK deactivation with fully moving parts, a working dry fire action and the ability to fully field strip.
