A good Enfield No4 MKI* rifle manufactured by Savage (US) and provided to allies during WWII under the lend/lease scheme. The serial number 66CXXXX dates this rifle to approximately August 1943. Chambered in .303, the No4 rifle was the mainstay of allied forces during WWII and was still used extensively into the 1950's and early 1960's. This example is in good used condition with some service wear to the metalwork and what appears to be replacement woodwork. Complete with five inert .303 rounds and bakelite oil bottle. Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action, removable magazine and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
