SOLD. The Winchester 52 was widely accepted to be one of the best .22 match rifles ever produced. Introduced in the 1920's, it was produced until the 1980's with copies also being produced in the 1990's. It is a standard magazine fed bolt action design with either a 5 or 10 round magazine - this example has a 5 round. This variant is the B model, introduced in 1937 and produced until around 1951. It is the target version with a wider stock and a heavyweight barrel which is screw cut for a suppressor. This EU deactivated example was manufacured circa 1949/1950 and comes complete with a 4 x 40 'Original' scope, mounts, picatinny rail, sling swivels and a black cordura sling. Interestingly, it has a brass plaque inset into the stock engraved with the name 'Mark Sidney' - back in the day, it was probably someone's pride and joy! Sorry - no international sales.
