Manufactured from 1948, the FN-49 or SAFN is a gas operated semi-auto rifle chambered in 7.92mm with a top-fed (via stripper clip) 10 round magazine. It was sold to a number of countries including Venezuela, Eygpt, Luxemburg, Indonesia, Columbia and Argentina as well as being used by the Belgian Military and Navy. It is an important weapons as many of its design features were carried over into the FN FAL. Complete with military sling. Pre-1995 deactivation with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip.
