WWI Era Carl Gustaf 1896 Rifle (Swedish Mauser)

SOLD. Manufactured by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori from 1896 to around 1944, this quality rifle was also known as the Swedish Mauser. Chambered in 6.5 x 55mm, the 1896 had an internal 5 round magazine. This example is dated 1916 and is in really excellent condition with matching numbers throughout (down to the smallest part!). It is complete with its original cleaning rod and has the usual brass information disc set into the stock. EU deactivation with a moving bolt and moving trigger (under spring pressure) but without the ability dry fire or field strip.
