It was an innovative weapon which in many ways shaped the development of the next generation of SMG including the UZI. In particular the CZ employed a recessed bolt which allowed the front part of the bolt to rest in front of the breech (over the barrel). This had the effect of producing a much shorter weapon. Combined with placement of the magazine inside the pistol grip this produced a much more compact SMG than had ever been seen before. The VZ/CZ26 is of the same basic design as the VZ/CZ23, but chambered in 7.62 x 23 (Tokarev round). This example is in good used condition and comes complete with one magagazine. There is a small (old) repair to a crack in the stock and the rear sight is missing - priced accordingly. Post 1995 UK deactivation with moving trigger, removable stock (one screw) and removable magazine.
