SOLD. The K98, based on the on the Gew 98 used during WWI, was the standard Nazi issue weapon of WWII. This is a WWII example is dated 1941 with the manufacturer code 'bnz' for Steyr Daimler Puch AG. It has clear Nazi Waffenampts to the receiver, barrel and rear sight. In good overall condition with sound wood and a good proportion of metalwork finish intact. Complete with the usually missing cleaning rod, sight hood and a nice quality reproduction leather sling.
