WWII No4 MKI Grenade Launcher

Price incl. VAT, plus delivery

SOLD. An unusual WWII Enfield No4 MKI rifle that has been permanently converted to a dedicated grenade launcher post-war. This example is dated 1942. Chambered in .303, the No4 rifle was the mainstay of allied forces during WWII and was still used extensively into the 1950's and early 1960's. This example has a shortened barrel (18") which is fitted with a grenade discharger cup. It is also fitted with a No5 stock we assume because of the rubber butt pad which is integral in this stock type. The front woodwork is wire bound as is the norm for rifles converted to grenade launching role. In good used condition with much of the finish intact and good wooden stocks. Complete with a reproduction webbing sling and its correct red painted magazine. Fun fact - very similar to the Star Wars Jawa 'Ion Blaster'! UK deactivation with fully moving parts, dry fire action and the ability to field strip (launchers are outside of the EU spec). Sorry - no international sales.
