SOLD. Lithgow manufactured Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) in .303 calibre. This WWII MKIII* model has a 1942 dated receiver and matching numbers to the receiver and bolt. In good condition with original woodwork and much original metalwork finish. The top wood has taken a few knocks in its service life with some loss around the rear sight (very common on SMLE's). Complete with webbing sling and 5 inert .303 rounds. EU deactivation with a moving bolt, moving trigger (under spring pressure), working safety and removable magazine but without the ability dry fire or field strip.
