Manufactured from 1942, the AG42 or Ljungman is a gas operated semi-auto rifle chambered in 6.5mm with a top-fed (via stripper clip) 10 round magazine. This example is 1943 dated and has the later modification to the 'B' variant during the 1950's. Very high quality manufacture with a unique and interesting mechanism which involves sliding the top cover forward over the bolt and then withdrawing the whole assembly to the rear - see this video. Pre-1995 deactivation with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip.
