Spanish M44 Mauser Rifle (circa 1944)

NON-UK SALES ONLY OR RE-DEACTIVATION TO CURRENT DEACTIVATION SPECIFICATION - PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FURTHER DETAILS. Manufactured by the La Coruna aresenal from 1944 to 1957 and closely based on the WWII German K98, the M44 was a very good quality weapon. Chambered in 7.92 x 57, the M44 is basically the M43 model with minor changes to the front sight and sling mounting points. It was used exclusively by the Spanish Airforce. Some early examples (circa 1944) used WWII K98 parts; this is one such example being fitted with an S/42 marked rear sight. Fully matching numbered and in very good used condition with most of its original metalwork finish intact and good stocks. Deactivated to the UK specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel).
