SOLD. A rare shotgun produced from around 1931 until the late 1949 and produced in relatively small quantities (c. 120,000). The Model 31 was Remington's first side ejecting model and was produced in small numbers as a riot gun for military use. From the barrel code (PL), this example looks to have been manufactured in June 1942 and has the very unusual 'Cutts' compensator fitted. The Cutts is of course synonymous with the Thompson 1928 A1submachine gun. In used condition with some service wear and fading to the finish which is to be expected on a piece of this age. Deactivated with a moving pump arm, moving bolt, moving trigger and working safety but without the ability dry fire or field strip. See our video of this piece below. Sorry - no international sales.
