Mauser Hunting Rifle Rifle

Original Mauser manufactured hunting rifle based on a Model 98 action. This rifle (action) started life as a WWII K98 and has since then been highly customised by a gunsmith. It still retains some of its Nazi markings, but now has a sporter stock, sling swivels, set triggers and scope mounting points. In good use condition, with a little minor pitting to the bolt and a chip missing to the butt plate. It probably has a few stories to tell! Deactivated to the EU specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel). Existing collectors should note that the EU specification for the deactivation of bolt action rifles with integral magazines is almost identical to the previous UK specification - you are unlikely to be able to spot any difference at all and certainly nothing externally!
