SOLD. The M14 was the last American battle rifle issued in any quantity to American armed forces. It was adopted in the late 1950s to replace the M1 Garand rifle and was the standard US infantry rifle until replaced in the mid 1960's by the M16. However, it has had somewhat of a comeback in recent years in a highly customised form as a special forces weapon. This example is in excellent order, is marked TRW and was manufactured by Thompson-Ramo-Wooldridge. Complete with sling, one 20 round magazine, one 10 rounds magazine and 5 inert 7.62 NATO rounds. Deactivated to the new EU specification with removable magazine but no other moving parts. Existing collectors should note that the EU specification for the deactivation of assault rifles is almost identical to the previous UK spec. The only real difference is a slight adaption to the magazine/well that is not externally visible. Sorry - no international sales.
