SOLD. A stunning Enfield L4A3 light machine gun chambered in 7.62 NATO. There isn't much to say about the Bren that most people don't already know; a mainstay weapon and a legend in its own right. The L4 was the last incarnation of the Bren produced in 7.62 NATO throughout the lates 60's, 70's and 80's (including during the Falklands conflict) and up until the early 1990's. This example was manufactured in 1966 with the serial number UE66A6762 or more correctly, as with the majority of L4's, was converted from an earlier Bren. Before its official conversion, this example started life as a Monotype/Daimler piece manufactured in 1943! In fantastic condition with the vast majority of original finish intact and excellent, barely used stocks. Complete one magazine, sling (not pictured) and 5 inert 7.62 NATO rounds. Current specification deactivation with moving cocking handle under spring pressure, moving trigger under spring pressure, moving fire selector and removable magazine, but without a dry-fire action or the ability to field strip. L4 Brens are few and far between - this is an excellent excellent example that would be hard to better.
