Colt M16 A3/A4 5.56mm Assault Rifle

This started life as a Colt manufactured M16A1 with the upper being replaced at some stage in its life with an A4 unit. The A4 upper has the A2 heavy barrel and furniture combined with a flat top receiver incorporating an picatiiny rail. The US army version of the A4 has burst fire rather than fully auto so in this respect, this example is more like the A3 which did have full auto. Fitted with an after-market pistol grip but also comes with original Colt A2 grip (see images). Complete with removable carry handle, two magazines and 10 inert 5.56mm rounds. Post 1995 deactivation with moving trigger, moving cocking handle (not under spring pressure) and removable magazine.
