SOLD. This Chinese Zhong Zheng Shi or Type 24 Rifle was manufactured in 1946 by the 21st Arsenal - also known as the Nanjing Arsenal. Chambered in 7.92 x 57, the Type 24 uses the tried and battle-tested Mauser action. In good used condition with plenty of metalwork finish intact and sound stocks exhibiting the knocks associated with such a service rifle. Complete with cleaning rod, period leather sling (slight tear to it near the front sling swivel) and 2 inert 7.92 rounds. Deactivated to the EU specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel). Existing collectors should note that the EU specification for the deactivation of bolt action rifles with integral magazines is almost identical to the previous UK specification - you are unlikely to be able to spot any difference at all and certainly nothing externally!
