SOLD. Early Glock 17 auto pistol in 9mm. This is a first generation model with a low serial number (EP648) which indicates it was manufactured in 1989 in the first few years of Glock 17 production. The Glock now probably falls into the category of classic pistols. It has found significant success with Police forces all over the world as well as some armed forces including our own. Glocks have also appeared in countless movies including a very early, but inaccurate reference to them being porcelain guns that could evade airport scanners; referred to as Glock 7's in the 1988 film Die Hard. In very good used condition throughout with the majority of original finish intact. The magazine has a slight crack down the back edge but as it is steel lined anyway, this does not affect its integrity. Complete with 5 inert 9mm rounds and one magazine. Deactivated to the new EU specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action, working slide stop (locks back on an empty magand the ability to to remove the magazine. Existing collectors should note that the EU specification for the deactivation of semiautomatic pistols is very similar to the previous UK spec with the main difference being a slight adaption to the magazine/well.
