WWII 1940 Enfield Dovetail Bren MKI

SOLD. A nice example of an original Enfield manufactured WWII Bren chambered in .303. There isn't much to say about the Bren that most people don't already know; a mainstay weapon and a legend in its own right. This example is a 1940 dated MKI with the optical sight bracket on the left and has all of the correct MKI features. Early Brens such as this are far less frequently encountered as many were abandoned during the Dunkirk landings. Complete with one magazine and 5 inert .303 rounds. Good overall condition with some wear to the finish commensurate with use and the expected knocks for a wartime piece; evidence of green camo paint on the receiver. Deactivated to the EU specification with moving cocking handle and removable magazine, but without a dry-fire action. Sorry - no international sales.
