The K98, based on the on the Gew 98 used during WWI, was the standard Nazi issue weapon of WWII. This is example is an interesting one. It has a wartime dated receiver coded 'dou 45' meaning that it was produced in WWII at a Czech factory under German occupation. Beyond this, it has no Nazi markings, suggesting it was either sanitised post war or it was a wartime reciever used on a post-war build. It is chambered in 7.62mm NATO rather than the usual 7.92mm, although may have started life in 7.92mm with a later conversion. It is fitted with a nice Weaver Micro-Trac scope which although isn't marked as such, is probably around 4 x32. This is fitted to a nice quality Leupold mount. In really nice condition with lovely polished stocks. EU deactivation with a moving bolt and moving trigger (under spring pressure), but without the ability dry fire or field strip.Sorry - no international sales.Call our freephone credit card sales hotline to buy this item now with your credit or debit card - 0800 772 3499.
