Mauser .243 Scoped Rifle

Original Mauser manufactured hunting rifle based on a Model 98 action. Now chambered in .243, this rifle (action) started life as a WWII K98 and at some point in its life has been fitted with a heavy .243 barrel. Fitted with a 4 x 32 Nikko Stirling scope on a very good quality set of mounts. Also complete with a 6-9" height adjustable Harris-type fold up bipod. In very good condition with a nice hardwood stock and a blued finish. Deactivated to the EU specification with fully moving parts, working dry fire action and the ability to field strip (apart from the barrel). Existing collectors should note that the EU specification for the deactivation of bolt action rifles with integral magazines is almost identical to the previous UK specification - you are unlikely to be able to spot any difference at all and certainly nothing externally!
